Craig Blinderman’s primary focus is on commercial litigation; however, he increasingly consults with clients on corporate strategies as those strategies relate to commercial disputes.
To do this, Craig relies on his previous 20 years of experience as a dedicated trial attorney. For his first 5 years, he served as a felony prosecutor and legal counsel to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, learning and studying human nature and the human response. Using that experience as a tool, particularly how to relate to a jury, how to tell a story and how to meet the greater evidentiary burden of a criminal prosecution, he spent the following 15 years representing both plaintiffs and insurance carriers in insurance litigation. Craig uses that experience to (i) unravel the complexities of commercial litigation so that a trier of fact can best understand the disputes and (ii) help clients navigate the realities of commercial litigation.
Craig handles a myriad of complex cases in Florida’s state and federal courts and before arbitrators including all aspects of the automotive industry such as commercial, consumer, class action and complex civil litigation. A court appointed expert on attorney’s fees, he regularly testifies before the courts in South Florida on these matters. He also frequently presents on topics of interest to motor vehicle dealers statewide.
Craig also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education & School of Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University.
